He conquered the music world with his own brand of gut-bucket, houserockin’, Texas Gulf Coast Blues. Now, at nearly 70 years old, Pete Mayes is still rockin”! He serves as a true inspiration to all of us regardless of our profession or station in life. Despite his battle with diabetes that has taken his legs, and several weekly trips for dialysis, Mr. Mayes refuses to surrender to the disease! You go Pete! He insists on doing what he loves most: playing the blues FOR YOU!
